Jaw-dropping views and lifelong memories with this fabulous balloon ride.  Few experiences are as serene and at the same time thrilling - the sensation of time suspended as the world glides gently by. What happens on the day
You will be briefed on the balloon ride before take-off. As part of the experience, you may participate in helping set up the balloon and also to pack it away after landing. The retrieve crew will follow the balloon and meet you after the landing to return you to the launch site. You should allow approximately 3-4 hours in total for your trip and the retrieve, depending upon conditions on the day.

Need to know
 - Minimum age 12. Under-16's must be accompanied by an adult (under 18’s need parental/guardian consent)
 - You should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb in and out of the basket!
 - Minimum height 4’6” (137cms)
 - Maximum weight 18 stone (114kgs)
 - Seasonal closures may apply
 - The balloon ride experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue

Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the price of your Virgin Experience day.  However if you’re not quite ready to come back down to earth after your Virgin Experience, then why not make a night of it and enjoy an over-night stay before or after your experience?

We’ve teamed up with expedia.co.uk, one of Europe’s leading online reservation providers, so you can do just that!

Virgin Experience Days Gift Pack
As soon as you place your order this gift pack will wing its way to you (or the recipient) containing the experience voucher (valid for 9 months from date of purchase), message card, booking instructions and information booklet.

Delivery
All experience gift packs are dispatched under plain cover, at a charge of £1.75, usually on the day you order if we receive your order before 2pm. Please remember to allow extra time for deliveries around special occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day.

Royal Mail Special Delivery is available within the UK for next working day delivery at the following costs but remember someone should be in to sign for it on the day. These orders must also be received before 2pm.

You can now also choose Saturday Special Delivery at the following costs within the UK only. These orders must be received before 2pm.

Experience gift packs can be sent to you or direct to your recipient. Please note we cannot dispatch your experience gift pack until payment is received

Free Insurance
PA insurance is included with most experiences (see each experience description), this covers the recipient for £50,000 of Personal Accident insurance whilst doing the experience and Cancellation Indemnity (subject to terms).
