Ypres - Evening transfer to Ypres, devastated during World War I but now beautifully restored. We attend the moving Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate.
Brussels - A three-quarter day tour to the lively Belgian capital.
Accommodation
You will stay in a medium grade hotel such as the Ibis Lille Tourcoing on the outskirts of Lille. The hotel has a restaurant and all bedrooms have private facilities, telephone and TV.
Day 1
Local departure and a mid-morning crossing to Calais. Late afternoon visit to the Grand Place and the Christmas market in the historic centre of Lille, before reaching your hotel for a three night stay.
Days 2 & 3
Included full day excursion to Bruges. This is the capital of West Flanders and its beautiful architecture and abundance of other attractions draws people from near and far. There is an included evening transfer into the centre of Lille.
Day 4
Depart after breakfast to visit the popular Cité Europe shopping centre before a late afternoon crossing back to the UK and continuing to your original departure point this evening.
