Accommodation
You will stay in the comfortable medium grade Hotel Norderstedter Hof, located in Norderstedt on the outskirts of Hamburg. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and lift, and all bedrooms have private facilities, TV and telephone.

Itinerary

Day 1
Local departure and a mid-morning crossing to Calais. Travel through Belgium and into Germany for an overnight stay in the Münster area on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
Drive to the historic town of Bremen for a visit to the Christmas market located in the picturesque Market Square. We continue to the Hamburg for a three night stay on the outskirts.

Day 3
Included full day in the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg, with its stylish centre and modern harbour front. The largest of the Christmas markets is located on the magnificent Town Hall square with traditional stalls selling a variety of gifts. An optional boat trip on Hamburg’s Lake Alster for unique views of the city is also available.

Day 4
Join our optional full day excursion to the traditional Christmas market in the Hanseatic town of Lübeck. Enjoy the festive atmosphere of a heritage dating back more than 350 years.

Day 5
Our final highlight is an included visit to the wonderful old town of Hamelin, famous for the legend of the Pied Piper. Here you’ll find another enchanting Christmas market in the historic old town. Continue to our final overnight stay in the Münster area on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 6
Late afternoon crossing back to the UK and continue to your original departure point in the evening.
